In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
JESUS (JOHN 16:33)
For many of us life can be troublesome – relationship breakdown, divorce, loss of a loved one, sickness, abuse, financial challenges, redundancy, depression, family difficulties, loneliness. But God has not left us helpless and abandoned to these tough conditions. He has given us ‘all we need for life and godliness through true and personal knowledge of Him’.
(2 Peter 1:3)
Did you know that you were built, designed and equipped to navigate the rough terrain your life?
Fully accessing the freedom that Jesus died to give us, allows us to turn our trouble into triumph. In this way our lives become a message of hope and freedom to a lost and dying world.
Isaiah 61
“He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favour and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendour.”
The answer to the needs of society will come through the body of Christ
Isaiah 61 is a call for us as the people of God to help fix the brokenness we see around us. But we also need to fix the brokenness within us. There are Christian men and women of all ages and stage of life in our churches today, desperately wanting to reach new levels of freedom, wholeness and understanding in their lives. They want a closer connection with Jesus Christ, but they just don’t know how to access Him.
Our dream is to see every Christian able to navigate their life from a place of freedom, wholeness and understanding using the biblical tools made available to them by our Heavenly Father
